The 2007 college entrance examination programs in Guangdong, Shandong, Hainan, and Ningxia are the first batch of new college entrance examination programs based on the “Ordinary High School Curriculum Standards” as a teaching basis. They have been implemented and will soon face the test of college entrance examination practice. The new program for the 2008 college entrance examination in Jiangsu Province has also been announced, and the corresponding implementation work is in full swing. The introduction of new programs for the five college entrance examinations is directly reflected in the results of the college entrance examination reforms that are the result of ordinary high school curriculum reforms.
