This article describes the generation of diesel soot, the influencing factors and control ways. Due to the characteristics of the combustion process of the diesel engine, it is unavoidable to generate a large amount of carbon particles in the main combustion period. The exhaust gas can be “smokeless” as long as the carbon particles can disappear after the main combustion period or afterwards. Some foreign literature suggests that increasing the amount of fuel to be blended and reducing the amount of fuel injected after the fire is an effective way to reduce exhaust smoke. But this will make the cylinder pressure growth too fast, causing rough work and noise and other shortcomings. The author believes that if the attention from the main combustion period of how much carbon particles, the shift to the main combustion period of the thickness of carbon particles, focusing on preventing the generation of coarse carbon particles, or help to find some practical control of exhaust smoke The measure.
