当前，工程数据的有效管理是集成化的ＣＡＤ／ＣＡＭ系统成功的关键，文章从分析工程数据库系统的特点出发，阐明了ＣＩＭＳ环境下建立工程数据库管理系统的两条途径以及基于高层途径思想的一次有意义的实践。
