In February of this year, a company in Shengli Oilfield entered into a contract with a Hong Kong company to import 60 electric three-way valves with a total value of $178,000, which is mainly used for oil and gas separation and pipeline transportation on offshore oil platforms. The valves were produced by American companies and assembled in Singapore. Due to the harsh working conditions of offshore oil exploitation, the quality of the batch of valves in the contract has been made more stringent.
