6月初,为期两天的“第二期联合国采购事务说明会”在上海锦江饭店结束。近300位上海、浙江企业负责人参加了原限额200人的会议,和联合国工作人员面对面交流,沪浙企业热情参与联合国采购。 联合国PPC计划执委会秘书长张杰先生在会上说,由干阿富汗等地区战后重建的需要以及不断升级的巴以冲突引起的难民安置等原因,2002年联合国采购的金额将达到100亿美元,如果中国企业能够抓住机会,将获得一亿五千万到五亿美元左右的全新国际贸易商机。
At the beginning of June, the two-day “Second United Nations Purchasing Briefing Session” ended at Shanghai Jin Jiang Hotel. Nearly 300 corporate leaders from Shanghai and Zhejiang attended the meeting with a limit of 200 people. They communicated face-to-face with UN staff and the companies from Shanghai and Zhejiang warmly participated in UN procurement. Mr. Zhang Jie, Secretary-General of the UN PPC Program Executive Committee, said at the meeting that the United Nations procurement amount will reach 10 billion U.S. dollars in 2002 from the need for post-war reconstruction in Afghanistan and other regions and the escalation of refugee settlements caused by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. If Chinese companies can seize the opportunity, they will obtain new international trade opportunities ranging from 150 million to 500 million U.S. dollars.
