1994年7月5日在江苏省建筑科学研究院内召开了五届二次常务理事会扩大会议,汤晓东、宋绍铭正副理事长及常务理事19人出席了会议,其中有13个学术委员会主任委员参加会议。为避免外地常务理事旅途劳顿,临时采取通讯方法及时寄出会议资料,通报会议情况,并征求对学会工作的意见。会议由副理事长兼秘书长宋绍铭主持,主要通报了学会上半年的工作进展情况,下半年的活动安排,并交流了各学术委员会的工作。(见会议资料)
