刘国光,男,1923年11月生,江苏南京人。研究员,中国社会科学院学部委员,博士生导师,中国社会科学院特邀顾问。1951年被派往苏联莫斯科经济学院国民经济计划教研室当研究生,1955年毕业并获副博士学位;回国后进入中国科学院(现为中国社会科学院)经济研究所从事研究工作,历任研究室主任、《经济研究》杂志副总编和主编、副所长、所长等职务;1981年兼任国家统计局副局长;
