The huge underground military formations of the Qin Shihuang mausoleum, unearthed from the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, are hailed as “the most spectacular archaeological discovery of this century” and the French President Jacques Chirac calls it the “eighth wonder of the world.” For more than 20 years, “Terracotta Warriors and Horses” has been enduring, and has so far received more than 40 million Chinese and foreign tourists, including more than 100 heads of state and government.
