大豆品种资源的研究,已往大都集中在筛选有关高产、早熟、高油分、高蛋白、抗病虫、抗逆性等的材料和特定基因。这类研究为近40年来中国、美国及世界各地大豆育种的进展奠定了基础。在群体水平上也做了许多揭示地方品种群体特点以及群体表现与自然栽培等生态条件间关系方面的工作。这类研究有助于制订当地育种计划。另一种研究地方品种资源群体的途径是数量遗传分析。马育华与盖钧镒研究了江淮下游
