At INFOCOMM Las Vegas 2014, QSC announced that the Q-Sys system will introduce the AMX and Crestron control modules to better align with the AV integration market. Specifically designed for integrators and programmers, the AMX and Crestron modules include sample components commonly used by Q-Sys, such as stereo mixers, audio routers, VoIP softphones, sample libraries for room combinations and channel meters, and control Interface and parameter settings. Joe Peavey, Senior Applications Engineering Manager at QSC, said: “Q-Sys’ external third-party IP control has always been through our designated control functions, and programmers have always had to develop their own AMX and Crestron modules from scratch, Module provides tremendous ease for programmers in control systems to control the common functional components of Q-Sys without having to spend a lot of effort programming themselves. ”"
