1944年2月,戏剧节与西南剧展同时开幕。对此,《新华日报》关注较早并积极报道,发言立意体现中共文艺思想。采写、报道西南剧展,《新华日报》注意融合《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》之精神,反复宣传含而不露,以此引导、启发与会戏剧工作者。《新华日报》报道口径和缓、理性,有批评政府之声,无破坏团结之意,并始终维护剧人利益,起到良好的宣传与统战作用。借助西南剧展,中共传递了《讲话》精神,团结了与会人员,其文艺政策渐为剧人接受,为引导日后剧运发展,奠定了基础。
In February 1944, the drama festival opened with the Southwest China Opera Exhibition. In response, “Xinhua Daily” concerned about the earlier and positive reports, speak out to reflect the Chinese literary thought. Writing and reporting on the Southwest China Art Exhibition, Xinhua Daily pays close attention to incorporating the spirit of “speech at the forum for Yan’an Literature and Art” repeatedly publicity to guide and inspire the participating theater workers. “Xinhua Daily” reported calming, rational, criticizing the voice of the government, without undermining the meaning of unity, and has always maintained the interests of the drama, play a good advocacy and united front role. With the Southwest China Opera Exhibition, the CCP delivered the spirit of “speech” and unite the participants. Its literary and art policy was gradually accepted by the writers and laid the foundation for guiding the development of the drama in the future.
