Aiming at the static tensile test of annular chain, a method for measuring the elongation of circular chain based on laser ranging is proposed. The automatic testing device with simple structure and convenient operation is designed and developed by the advanced modern detection technology and computer technology. The measuring principle of relevant parameters and the design of mechanical components, hardware circuits and measuring software in automatic test equipment are introduced in detail.
