On December 18, 2014, the ceremony of “China Smart City Yearbook 2014” was held at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Ding Youliang, director of Digital City Engineering Research Center of China Urban Science Research Institute, and Hu Ping, president of China Engineering Design Society, “China Smart City Yearbook 2014” inaugurated, smart city experts and a number of cities and business representatives to witness the advent of China’s first smart city yearbook. The 18th National Congress of the CPC set forth the grand goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way by 2020. The Second Session of the 12th National People’s Congress pointed out that adhering to the people-oriented principle, synchronizing the four modernizations and optimizing the layout,
