为减轻实施天然林保护工程对木材生产带来的压力,加快用材林基地建设势在必行。作者从分析湖南用材林基地建设的现状与问题入手,论证了湖南规划到2010年建成1333万hm2用材林基地的可行性。并本着因地制宜,发挥优势的原则,提出了湘南、湘西南以发展大径级杉木、马尾松为主;湘中、湘北丘陵区以发展国外松为主;洞庭湖区以发展欧美杨为主的定向培育速生丰产林的指导思想和实现这一战略目标的对策。
In order to reduce the pressure on timber production due to the implementation of natural forest protection project, it is imperative to accelerate the construction of timber forest base. Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems in the construction of timber forest base in Hunan, the author demonstrates the feasibility of Hunan’s planning to build 13.33 million hm2 timber base by 2010. And in line with local conditions, give full play to the advantages of the principle proposed in southern Hunan, southwest Hunan to the development of large-diameter cedar, masson pine; hilly areas in central and southern Hunan with the development of mainly foreign pine; Dongting Lake District to develop the main European and American Yang Directing cultivation of fast-growing and high-yielding forest guiding ideology and strategies to achieve this strategy.
