闵桂荣院士是中国航天器热控制技术学科创建人之一。长期从事空间技术的研究和发展工作负责完成了我国多项人造卫星的热控制任务,并在航天器热控制理论、方法和技术方面取得系统和创造性的成就。他作为主要技术负责人之一,参与领导完成了我国第一颗人造卫星和多颗返回式卫星的研制工作。自东方红一号成功发射至今,我国的航天工作者励精图治,开启了我国科技史上的航天盛世,中国建成了较为完善的应用卫星体系,实现了神舟载人飞船出舱的伟大壮举,成功放飞了嫦娥一号月球探测器,探月工程正在稳步推进,深空探测也已提上日程。
Mr. Min Guirong is one of the founders of China’s spacecraft thermal control technology discipline. He has long been engaged in the research and development of space technology and has completed the tasks of thermal control of many satellites in China and has made systematic and creative achievements in spacecraft thermal control theory, methods and technologies. As one of the chief technical leaders, he took the lead in completing the development of China’s first satellite and multiple return satellites. Since the successful launch of the Dongfanghong-1 so far, China’s astronaut workers have exerted themselves to making every effort to open up the prosperity of space science and technology in the history of science and technology in our country. China has built a relatively complete system of applied satellites and achieved a great feat of exiting the Shenzhou manned spacecraft. Chang’e I lunar probe, lunar exploration project is steadily advancing, deep space exploration has also been put on the agenda.
