提到云南,人们脑海中最先浮想的就是一片“彩云之南,绝美之滇”的旖旎风光,是昆明、大理、丽江、香格里拉、梅里雪山、泸沽湖、西双版纳、腾冲、瑞丽等一串串让旅行者为之神往的名字。这里地势雄奇险峻,平均海拔在2000米上下,中西北部海拔更达到3000米～4000米。与此同时,这里还是25个少数民族的世居地,是中国西南与缅甸、老挝、越南三国相邻的重要边陲。
