Henry Ford, the famed American carmaker, invented the method of assembly line production and was first used in his T-car production in 1913. This production technique saves time and costs, making the car affordable to the public, making it universally accessible to Americans. His business management philosophy is simple: reduce product prices, increase sales, increase productivity, increase output and sell at a lower price, and so on. He applied the principle of mass production to the industry at an unprecedented scale, opened up a new era for industrial production and gained a place in world industrial history. Henry Ford died in 1943, his Sun Henry Ford II, Ford Motor Company deputy general manager, succeeded as general manager in 1945, the rapid implementation of enterprise modernization. Among his highly talented systems analysts (known as “prodigy”) are McNamara, formerly General Manager of Ford, Secretary of Defense of the United States and World Bank president. When Ford II retired in 1979, the company employs more than 500,000 people and has offices in 200 countries around the world. --editor
