The research on the regulation and control mechanism of each stage of filarial filariasis is the basis for finding new means to prevent and control lymphatic filariasis. This review briefly reviews the research status and existing problems of Penaeus monocytogenes-specific proteins and details the recent isolation and characterization of the cDNA controlled by filarial stages by the authors and other laboratories. The specific cDNA library was constructed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
