2003年9月,来自世界各地的海外学子的目光聚焦在武汉——全国第三届海外华人专业人士回国创业成果会暨高新技术项目洽谈会在武汉举行。9月18日,在武汉科技会展中心,360多位海外华侨华人专业人士向大会提交科技含量高、市场前景较好的项目500多个,签约项目103个,总投资金额达37.7亿元……这是一个喜人的数字,然而,在这个数字的背后,却有不少“海归派”向记者流露出一脸隐忧:大陆的创业环境,能使这些项目顺利完成吗?
In September 2003, overseas students from all over the world focused their attention on Wuhan - the 3rd Overseas Chinese Professional Entrepreneurial Achievements and High-tech Project Fair held in Wuhan. On September 18, more than 360 overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese professionals in Wuhan Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center submitted more than 500 scientific and technological projects with a good market prospect and 103 contracted projects with a total investment amount of 3.77 billion yuan. This is a gratifying figure. However, behind this figure, there are quite a few “returnees” who are showing their secrets to reporters: Can the Mainland's entrepreneurial environment successfully complete these projects?
