我们最近对更名期刊做了一些研究,对索刊号的处理方法摸索出一种新做法,叫做集中处理法。我们的指导思想是希望将更名前后的期刊在目录中都集中在一个索刊号之下,这样做,在期刊的排架上就可以把这类期刊排在一起,便于查找检索。在理论上我们参考了吴龙涛、叶奋生编著的《连续出版物著录》例释一书,对期刊遇有改名、分辑、合并、分出等变化时,必须将这种情况在索刊号上反映出来。下面我把我们的操作规则解释一下,求教于同行看是否可取,在此探讨取经。
We recently did some research on the renamed periodicals and worked out a new approach to the method of processing the issue number, which is called the centralized approach. Our guiding ideology is to place journals both before and after the name change under a directory number. In this way, journals of this type can be ranked together on the shelf of a journal for easy search and retrieval. In theory, we refer to an example of “serial publication” written by Wu Longtao and Ye Fen-sheng. When the periodicals are changed in name, division, merger, division, etc., this situation must be reflected in the journal number come out. Now I explain our rules of operation, neighborhoods to see whether it is desirable, in this study.
