推进西部民族地区马克思主义大众化,既要立足于民族地区的具体区情,坚持“四贴近”原则,在贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近群众、贴近需要上下功夫,坚持适时性原则,把握马克思主义宣传教育的最佳时机;又要放眼未来,坚持前瞻性原则,在把握马克思主义大众化的基本规律和发展趋势的基础上制定中长期的工作规划,对可能出现的新情况、新问题作出预判和应对。同时,马克思主义的开放性品格要求民族地区马克思主义大众化必须坚持开放性原则。
