中国京剧院最近在广州、上海演出了优秀的革命现代戏《红灯记》,受到广大观众和戏剧工作者的热烈赞扬。他们认为《红灯记》是京剧革命现代戏的“出色的样板”,并称颂《红灯记》不断加工修改,使之日臻完美的革命精神。中南、华东与全国各地许多戏剧工作者纷纷组织观摩小组,虚心学习,总结经验,形成了找差距、学先进、赶先进的热潮。
The Peking Opera Theater recently performed excellent revolutionary modern drama “Red Lantern” in Guangzhou and Shanghai and was warmly commended by the majority of audiences and theatrical workers. They think the “Red Lantern” is an “excellent model” of the modern drama of the Beijing Opera Revolution and praised the revolutionary spirit of “Red Lantern” constantly being processed and modified so that it can be perfected. Many theatrical workers in Central and South China, East China and all over the country organized observation groups one after another, humbly learned and summed up their experiences, and formed a craze to find differences, learn advanced and catch the advanced.
