1999年5月20至21日,民进中央宣传部及《民主》杂志社在辽宁省鞍山市共同举办“民进部分省(区)、市宣传暨会刊工作交流会”。此次会议的主要议题是学习邓小平、江泽民关于新时期做好宣传工作的有关论述;通报近期统战宣传工作情况;交流近期各地方组织宣传及会刊工作经验。会议重在交流,意在推动,求真务实,特色突出。来自黑龙江、吉林、辽宁、内蒙、山西、河北、山东、北京和天津九个省(区)市近30位主管宣传工作的领导和干部出席会议。民进中央副主席、《民主》杂志社社长楚庄出席会议并作重要讲话。
From May 20 to May 21, 1999, Propaganda Department of Minxion Central Committee and “Democracy” magazine co-organized “Work Conference of Ministerials Provincial (District) and Municipal Publicity and Journal Work” in Anshan, Liaoning Province. The main topics for this meeting are to study Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin’s relevant discourse on doing a good job of propaganda work in the new era; to brief them on the work of the recent United Front propaganda work; and to exchange recent work experience of propaganda and catalogs of local organizations. The meeting focused on exchanges, intended to promote, pragmatic and distinctive. Nearly 30 leaders and cadres from nine provinces (cities) in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Beijing and Tianjin attended the propaganda work. Chin Chu, chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party, and Chu Zhuang, chairman of the “democracy” magazine, attended the meeting and made important speeches.
