德国虽然在悉尼奥运会上金、奖牌数都落在中国后面,但其总体实力仍不在我们之下,奖牌项多于我们5个,总分超过我们90分,银牌多1枚,铜牌多11枚,未来8年德国将是中国最主要的竞争对手。俄罗斯是中国实现名次突破的主要赶超目标。虽然悉尼奥运会俄表现出很强的实力,但也有明显的不足之处,如游泳、水上、举重等传统强项一金未得,尖子选手年龄偏大,后备力量不足等。俄罗斯的体育基础和经验优于我们,而我们的社会环境、上升势头强于俄罗斯。2008年,双方都有机会,关键是我们的信心和努力。
