6月18日,每一个重庆人都铭记着的日子,20年前的这一天,重庆正式挂牌直辖市,开启了20年的发展之路。1997年3月14日,八届全国人大五次会议审议通过《关于批准设立重庆直辖市的决定》。自此,重庆成为新中国第四个、也是最年轻的直辖市。同年6月18日,重庆直辖市正式挂牌,重庆成为继北京、上海、天津之后,全国第四个直辖市。20年间,一路蝶变。重庆经济社会发展取得了令人瞩目的成就,经济、政治、文化、社会、生态文明建设
On June 18, every day Chongqing people remember, 20 years ago this day, Chongqing officially listed municipalities, opened a 20-year road to development. On March 14, 1997, the Fifth Session of the Eighth National People’s Congress examined and adopted the “Decision on Approval of the Establishment of Chongqing Municipality.” Since then, Chongqing has become the fourth and youngest municipality in China. On June 18, the same year, Chongqing municipality was formally listed and Chongqing became the fourth municipality directly under the Central Government following Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. 20 years, all the way butterfly.
