5月21日,在汕头市召开的苏埃过海隧道可行性研究报告评审会上,专家组肯定了过海隧道建设的必要性,同时表示经初步论证建设可行。专家组初选方案中,将跨越汕头南北海湾,建成一条长6.8公里的过海通道,其中过海隧道长4.95公里。
On May 21, at the review meeting of the Feasibility Study Report of the Sui Cross-Harbor Tunnel held in Shantou, the expert group confirmed the necessity of cross-harbor tunnel construction and at the same time indicated that it was feasible through preliminary demonstration. The initial panel of the expert group will cross over the North-South Gulf of Shantou to build a 6.8-kilometer cross-sea channel, of which the over-sea tunnel will be 4.95 kilometers long.
