Leeds Descher was born in 1966 in Boston, USA, and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1988 and lives in New York. Her works have been collected by the New York Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Art Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Guggenheim Museum of Fine Arts.
