广义的文学,包括人类一切有创造力的语言和文字,并非作家的专属领地。本刊新开设“民间语文”栏目,为作家以外更多的人开辟表达空间,展示旧文学标准常常忽略的各种日常体语文:日记、书信、传说、讲辞、顺口溜、广告、应用文、回忆录以及一切新方言和新行话,力求获得更广阔的文学视域。 在我们看来,一则精彩的启事,可以比一部乏味的长篇小说更具艺术的力量。一句流行的习语,也可以比一百本矫饰的散文更能成为人们认识社会的人口。 民间语文是文学的纵深,是文化与自然的触面,语言与生命的结合部。作为在人类生存实践中每时每刻都在发生着的语文行为,它的自发性属与实用品格,最能呈现出主流话语对生命的定制,也最能呈现出生命对主流话语的消解;它最能揭示传统的滞积,又最能传感创新的勃动。它常常比文人写作更直接更灵敏更鲜明地标示出一个民族特定的文化方位。 本期,我们选编了几封五、六十年代的书信,参照九十年代的语言资料,以助读者在比较中感受到汉语言的现代历程和潮向。这当然只是一种尝试。民间语文是大众的工作,我们欢迎一切有心的读者,为我们发现、收集、整理和提供更多的资料,成为我们这个栏目的客座专家,使民间语文从历史的暗处浮出地表,得到应有的研究与评价。
Broad literature, including all human creative language and writing, is not the exclusive domain of writers. It can best reveal the traditional lag, but also the most innovative sense of innovation. It is often more sensitive and more clearly marked than the literati writing a particular cultural orientation of a nation. In this issue, we compiled a few letters from the 1950s and 1960s and used the language materials of the 1990s to help readers to feel the modern course and trend of Chinese language in comparison. This is of course just an attempt. Folk language is the work of the general public.
