无锡市郊区的茭白主要产区有3000多亩,1970～1979年,秋茭平均亩产仅为750公斤(净茭肉,下同)左右,1980年以来,抓了选种、寄秧等措施,1983年秋茭的亩产已分别提高到1000公斤左右,进一步提高茭白的质量,是市场和生产发展的需要。有必要对进一步提高无锡茭白的产量进行研究,总结出高产栽培技术,为大面积推广提供依据。
