In his address on “World Ocean Day” on June 8, 2015, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stressed that the oceans are an important part of the Earth’s ecosystem and that the health of the oceans and seas is of crucial importance to the planet’s health and in this regard calls upon the world to adopt Take concrete actions to protect marine resources and make them rejuvenated.
