1947年12月21日,刘伯承率领大别山后方指挥所及中原机关到达临泉。1948年2月20日,中央军委指示:“前指应率野战军主力转出大别山,进到淮河、陇海路、沙河以及伏牛山之间。”据此,刘邓将主力调出大别山,进至淮北和豫西,集结整训,并会合在这一地区活动的华野西兵团和陈谢兵团。同年2月24日,邓小平率领的前方指挥所自大别山转出,来到韦寨镇,与刘伯承率领的后方指挥所在分别75天后胜利会师!
December 21, 1947, Liu Bocheng led the Dabie Mountains Rear Command and the Central Plains authorities arrived at Linquan. On February 20, 1948, the Central Military Commission commanded: “The former refers to the main force of the field army that is transferred out of the Dabie Mountains and enters between the Huaihe River, Longhai Road, Shahe River and Funiu Mountain.” Accordingly, Liu Deng and Deng Dabei will mainly mobilize the Dabie Mountains, Into the Huaibei and western Henan, assembly training, and meet in this area activities of the Chinese wild West Corps and Chen Xie Corps. On the 24th of February of the same year, the front command post led by Deng Xiaoping turned out from Dabie Mountain and came to Weizhai Town, where he and Liebeng Commander, led by Liu Bocheng, won the victory in 75 days respectively.
