今年元旦,北京动物园办公室接到了一封不寻常的来信。这封信是延安革命纪念馆保管部寄来的。信中说,最近发现毛泽东同志转战陕北时骑过的马(现为标本),马皮缝合处及其它部位有许多裂缝,表面出现部分黑斑……希望北京动物园派专人来延安抢救这件一级革命文物。动物园领导研究后,把这项任务交给了我。我反复阅读了来信,从专业的角度给延安复信,请他们拍下标本(裂缝处)照片,并做一些必要的测量、调研工作。照片很快寄到北京,根据照片反映出的情况,我做了几套保护和修复方案,准备好药品、修
