活跃于20世纪中期的英美新批评,是在文学理论发展的转折时期出现的一种重要的理论,区别于之前的实证主义与浪漫主义,对文学作品本身表现出一种深刻的、近乎虔诚的关注,其中尤以诗歌作为关注的焦点,后来的实践亦表明,新批评在诗歌分析方面拥有独特的优势。本文摘选20世纪中国现代诗歌的经典作品《再别康桥》作为研究对象,运用新批评的“细读”方式解读诗歌意象、突出语词之间形成的张力对诗歌语言表现力的作用,并结合诗人派别主张分析诗歌的形式之美,以期对这首诗做出更加全面、客观的读解和理解。
