According to the statistics of MSC office of Nantong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the first half of this year, the textile and clothing exported by Hai’an County in Jiangsu Province reached 264.65 million U.S. dollars, up 17.64% over the same period of last year, mainly to 83 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe and the United States. Hai’an County, Jiangsu Province, exports of textile and apparel presents five major characteristics: 1. Textile exports increased more than clothing. In the first half of the year, MSC exported 167.9875 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 23.92% over the same period of the previous year. The varieties included yarn, fabric and finished textile products; the export of clothing was 96,662,900 U.S. dollars, up 8.13%
