In 1955, with the efforts of the Chinese government and Premier Zhou Enlai, Qian Xuesen, who had been stalled in the United States for five years, returned to his motherland day and night. After returning to China, Qian Xuesen witnessed the prosperous development of New China and saw the image of leading and cadres at all levels in the party working in a clean and honest manner and serving the people wholeheartedly. All of this touched the scientist who spent the long night in old China. After learning the knowledge of the party, he deeply realized that the cause of the party is very great and that his personal dream of being able to pursue the motherland can not be achieved without depending on the party organization.
