Objective To understand the level and distribution of personal external radiation dose of radiation workers for the past two years in the Second Artillery Medical System and to compare the difference in the doses of various types of radiation work and to analyze the annual trends and the causes of the doses. Methods LiF (Mg, Cu, P) thermoluminescence personal dosimeter detector was used for monitoring according to the standard methods of GBZ128-2002 and GB5294-85. Results The average annual effective dose of nine years was 1.615 mSv with a monitoring ratio of 89.9% and NR15 of 1.3%. Conclusions The average annual effective dose of medical workers in Second Artillery Corps is slightly higher than the national average, below the annual effective dose limit. There is no significant difference in the external exposure dose between radiation workers of different occupations.
