Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for System Biology (MGH CSB) have developed a new portable product that collects a very small sample of patient tissue by minimally invasive methods and analyzes hundreds of cancer-associated protein markers. The new technology first targets cells or molecules with magnetic particles and then introduces them into a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) system that detects and evaluates samples. Researchers have encountered difficulties in the early stages of product development and have encountered bottlenecks in the detection and diagnosis of bacterial antibodies using the products, which require very high precision in the detection of target bacteria. The researchers then adjusted the target
