Objective To investigate the distribution and rate of bone metastases in two groups of breast cancer patients before and after the operation of radionuclide bone imaging to understand the status and clinical significance of preoperative bone imaging examination in patients with breast cancer. Methods From February 20012 to February 2013, patients who underwent whole body radionuclide imaging at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were divided into two groups according to time before surgery and one year after surgery. The number of patients in each group was counted , Calculate its percentage and bone metastasis rate. Results A total of 252 patients (11.07%) were examined preoperatively and 2025 patients (88.93%) were examined within 1 year after operation. The bone metastases of the two groups were 6.35% (16/225) and 6.86% (139/2025) , The difference was not statistically significant (χ2 = 0.094, P> 0.05). Conclusions Clinicians and patients have a relatively poor emphasis on preoperative radionuclide bone imaging; almost the same rate of bone metastases is achieved in preoperative and postoperative patients within 1 year, and it is even more important to preoperatively examine this as a routine test Clinical significance.
