在超高分子量聚乙烯柱塞式挤出成型过程中,运用Polyflow软件对挤出流道内熔体流动进行模拟分析,研究了不同几何尺寸流道对熔体的压力场及剪切速率场的影响。结果表明:在挤出流道内,熔体压力降和剪切速率随着缓冲段横截面尺寸和过渡段坡度的减小而减小。因此,设计针对超高分子量聚乙烯在柱塞式挤出过程中的挤出流道时,为了能够减低能耗、增加制品表面质量,应尽量减小缓冲段横截面尺寸和过渡段坡度。
In the process of UHMWPE plunger-extrusion, the flow of melt in extrusion flow channel was simulated by Polyflow software. The influence of flow field with different geometry on the melt pressure field and shear rate field was studied . The results show that the melt pressure drop and shear rate decrease with the decreasing of the cross-section size of the buffer section and the slope of the transition section in the extrusion flow channel. Therefore, in order to reduce the energy consumption and increase the product surface quality, the design of the extrusion flow path of UHMWPE during plunger extrusion should be designed to minimize the size of the cross section of the buffer section and the slope of the transition section.
