《中庸》里有这样一段话:天命之谓性,率性之谓道,修道之谓教。从中我们可以探得教育的根本旨趣,那就是教化育心,引导受教育者的终极价值。教育教学活动要为学生的生命奠基,为孩子的人生理想导航,为受教育者的未来打下坚实的精神底子。学生的人生态度、价值取向、精神气质在很大程度上取决于教育者的熏染与培植。教育是蕴含着教育者主观意趣的引导活动,这种主观意趣内含着教育者的价值选择和价值预设——诸如:什么是理想的社会,什么是美好的人生,什么是幸福的生活,什么生命境界值得追求,等等。
In the Doctrine of the Mean there is a passage like this: Fate of Nature, Blame of Nature, and Doctrine of Taoism. From which we can explore the fundamental purpose of education, that is, to educate and guide the education of the ultimate value. Education and teaching activities for students to lay a foundation for the ideal life of children’s navigation, lay a solid foundation for the educated’s future. Students attitude to life, value orientation, mental qualities depends largely on the education and cultivation of educators. Education is a guide activity that contains the subjective interest of educators. This subjective interest contains the choice of value and the value presupposition of educators - such as what is an ideal society, what is a beautiful life, what is a happy life, What life is worth pursuing, and so on.
