你可曾听说过犯罪气味侦察学吗?这个名词对于许多人可能是比较陌生的,但在莫斯科就有这样一个专门研究犯罪气味的地方。这个机构隶属于俄罗斯内务部犯罪侦察实验中心。 这个犯罪气味侦察实验室总共只有5位科研人员和30条狗。实验室的房屋很紧凑。但这个实验室工作量却相当于整整一个研究所。因为除了进行犯罪气味鉴定,这个所还担负着警犬的选种配育任务。要培育出既具野生动物特有的敏锐嗅觉,又生性亲人,容易接受训练的新品种的警犬。而最优秀的“四足科研员”或者叫作“生物探测器”,则是按下述模式进行交配结合获得的:莱卡狗(北极犬)+狐狗+胡狼(豺)+莱卡狗。
