继2007年“首届全国英语专业院系主任高级论坛”在上外成功举办后,“第二届全国英语专业院系主任高级论坛”于2008年5月8日-11日在南京成功召开。此次论坛由教育部高校外语专业教学指导委员会、中国外语教材与教法研究中心、南京大学外国语学院联合主办,《当代外国文学》编辑部协办,上海外语教育出版社承办。来自全国高校近300位英语专业院系主任参加了此次论坛,就“新形势下英语专业的学科建设和人才培养”这一主题进行了深入的交流与研讨。
Following the 2007 “The First National Forum of English Professional Dean,” held successfully in the foreign countries, “the second session of the National English Department of senior faculty forum” on May 8, 2008 -11 days in Nanjing Successfully held. The forum was co-sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Center of China and the Foreign Languages Institute of Nanjing University, co-organized by the editorial department of Contemporary Foreign Literature and co-hosted by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. Nearly 300 English majors from colleges and universities attended the forum and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the theme of “discipline construction and personnel training of English majors in the new situation.”
