国企老总成了下岗者1996年,30岁的刘强被提升为木材公司总经理。成了企业法人,刘强便按照自己的思路对企业进行了一系列的大胆改革和调整,让企业更加充满着活力。但三年之后,由于市场竞争激烈,原有的计划经济体制严重制约着公司的发展,加之该公司是50年代的老国有企业,离退休人员多,包袱沉重,真的让企业发展举步维艰。2000年,木材公司已无回身之力,刘强经过深思熟虑觉得,公司只有宣布破产,才是唯一的出路。是年9月,内江市木材公司宣布正式破产,刘强成了下岗者。
