In the Omo Valley in southeastern Ethiopia, nearly 50 different ethnic groups, including Mursi, Bana, Surma and Hamar, still live their primitive lives. Their place of residence is the most remote and desolate land on earth, and the way of life is maintained in its original state. The indispensable violence in their ceremonial activities is an integral part of their unique culture and the only common ground among the ethnic customs here. A French photographer filmed this unknown corner of Africa, which may soon disappear. He has lived here for three months in different seasons, and the three-month trip is like a step back to thousands of years for photographers. He described his own knowledge.
