我国考古学家对从新石器时代到明朝各个时期出土的208例尸体测量结果表明,我国古代成年男子平均身高为165—167厘米,成年女子为154—156厘米。而我国18至25岁的城市男女青年在1955年至1979年间,平均每10年分别增高2.3厘米和2.15厘米。这说明现代人比古人高的现象
The archeologists’ measurements of 208 corpses unearthed from the Neolithic period to the Ming dynasty show that the average height of ancient Chinese adult men is 165-167 cm and that of adult women is 154-156 cm. In our country, urban young men and women aged from 18 to 25 increased by 2.3 centimeters and 2.15 centimeters on average every 10 years from 1955 to 1979. This shows that modern people are higher than the ancients
