Entering the middle school, I taught many of my teachers. I am very grateful to them, but I am more grateful to a special “teacher” - “junior high school students.” Since my senior classmate introduced me to her, I was impressed by her heart unconsciously. Those wonderful illustrations and wonderful words were printed in my heart; the good peers’ stories and the life experiences of famous writers gave me profound enlightenment; especially she gave me endless knowledge and help. Once, the teacher asked us to dictate English words. Not many of my writings were correct. After class, the teacher criticized me. I felt bad in my heart and I was stupid. At this time, a “Junior High School” was placed in front of me. An article titled “Skillfully Memorize English Words” attracted my attention. After reading the article, I learned that remembering words is not a matter of rote memorization. There are many ways. I applied my knowledge to my own learning and achieved remarkable results. Every time I dictate words, I basically get full marks and I am often praised by my teacher.
