本文对缺碘地区的89名儿童少年和非缺碘地区的125名儿童少年的第Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ掌骨皮质厚度进行了分析研究,发现缺碘地区儿童少年的骨皮质发育显著落后于非病区,病区男性和女性儿童少年骨皮质分别落后于非病区男性和女性儿童少年,病区女性骨皮质在青春期发育开始年龄呈显著下降,病区与非病区儿童少年不同年龄段比较中,除7~10岁组第Ⅰ掌骨皮质厚度差异无显著性外,其它各年龄段比较,差异均有显著意义。提示在缺碘性疾病的诊断中骨皮质可做为一个重要的考参指标。
