侵蚀模数标志着水土流失强度。水土流失的产生是外营力(降雨和风力等)对地面土壤的侵蚀、推移、搬运过程。这个过程由于所处条件不同,因而受到的自然因素或人为因素的影响也不同。这就造成了土壤抗侵蚀能力的差异性。外营力对地面土壤的侵蚀、推移、搬运的速度和强度就有明显的差别。为了尽快地掌握水土流失现状,采用地质探坑法对吉林地区的蛟河、桦甸、永吉、市郊区的松花湖库区的不同坡度坡耕地侵蚀模数进行了实测调查,测得效果切合实际,同省内外小区测验成果相近。其具体作法分述如下:
