服装是一个民族的文化象征,也是人民思想意识和精神风貌的体现。话剧与服装话剧舞台服装不同于避寒、遮羞、装饰用的生活服装,在表现人物性格、烘托剧情气氛、展现时代精神、调节舞台色彩等方面都起着着重要的作用。舞台服装的主要目的是:服从并服务于剧本主题和剧中人物需要,受时间、空间、剧情、人物诸多因素的制约。舞台服装是遵循写实主义的美学原则,按照生活的本来样式去描写现实,去寻找生活真实与艺术真实的最佳契合
