我国改革开放以来,建筑业获得了飞速发展。但是,仍有大量的民用与工业厂房因年久失修,急待加固修复;为适应企业改造,也有相当数量的工业建筑需要加以改建与加固。此外,近年新建工程中出现了质量事故,某些建筑也要加固补强,还有因使用情况变更、加层、装修等等需要进行加固的建筑,各地均存在。为适应上述情况,建筑结构加固与补强的新材料与新工艺也由此而发展起来。
